Q. How long has SECURIHOST been operating for?
We started in June 1998 so this year we have been operating for 8 years which makes us one of the UK's longest established hosts. This means that you can trust us with your hosting knowing that we are established company with years of experience.
Q. How long will it take for my web hosting account to be setup?
If you sign up between 9:00am - 5:00pm we aim to have your hosting set up within an hour, out side this time set may take a little longer. We donÕt use instant activation for security reasons as we like to check all orders before activating them on our system.
Q. Can I have a free trial of a web hosting account?
We don't offer free trials instead we offer a full no questions asked 30 day money back guarantee. This means that you can trial any of our account risk free for 30 days and if in the very unlikely event you find it isn't what you were looking for you can have a full refund.
Q. Are all your servers based in the UK?
Yes, all our servers are based the UK
Q. How easy is it to change my hosting account if my needs change?
This is very simple to do and can be done using our upgrade centre found in account details on the control panel. You can switch up accounts without having reset up your sites so for example moving up from a multi site account to a reseller is very simple and hassle free.
Q. Are there any extra charges for transfering in domains?
No, there are no charges for transfering in domains to an account.
Q. If I sign up for a hosting account can I cancel instantly at any time without giving notice?
Yes, you can get a refund for any reason; you donÕt even need to give a reason to claim a refund if you wish.
Q. You offer a 30 day money back guarantee, is this a no quibble guarantee meaning that I will get a refund no matter what reason I give for cancelling?
Yes, we don't have any minimum contact periods for our hosting and users can cancel an account with no notice needed by simply sending a support request from the control panel.
Q. Do you sell domain names?
Currently we don't sell domain names and are a pure web hosting company. Users just need to purchase domains through one of the many domain registrars on the web and then transfer them into us. We will though by the end of this year be starting a domain registrar service and will keep users updated.

Q.How can I pay for products on your site?
A. We accept the following credit cards MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Visa Purchasing, JCB, Solo and Switch. You can also pay by cheque for annual hosting accounts; this is not available for monthly plans.

Q. Do I get an invoice?
A. Yes, if you require an invoice please contact sales after you have signed up and they can arrange for you to have a full VAT invoice.
Q. Do you charge VAT?
A. At present we currently do not charge VAT on any of our accounts. The price you see is the price you get.
Q. How will I be billed if I sign up for a monthly account?
A. You will be billed using your credit card you used when you signed up each monthly anniversary of your account. For example if you sign up on the 10th if would be the 10th of every month. If for example you signed up on the 31st of a month your billing on months with less than 31 day would be on the next available day.
